Minecraft coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC helped kick off the event, as it's been something fans have been asking for years through the past. The announcement came out of this year's Minecraft Live event, the digital convention filled with Minecraft reveals, news, and plenty of Minecraft community goodness. Both versions of Minecraft on PC, the Java version and the Bedrock Edition, are coming soon to Xbox Game Pass for PC. That's an omission Xbox and Mojang are now ready to correct.
However, considering Xbox's promise of delivering first-party exclusives on Xbox Game Pass day one, as well as Xbox's first-party library of older games, there's always been one glaring omission - Minecraft on Xbox Game Pass for PC.
